In addition to my major in Furniture Design, I have completed a minor in Metals/Jewelry Design.
These classes have a heavy focus on metalworking and fabrication in many forms, and allow me to explore a variety of process first-hand. Within five classes I was able to practice vast amounts of soldering, casting, machining with mills and lathes, stone setting, hinge and clasp fabrication, and many forms of finishing.
